To help facilitate and inform implementation of a problem-solving and response-to-intervention model in the state, the Florida Department of Education and the University of South Florida have partnered to create the Florida Problem Solving/Response to Intervention (PS/RtI) Project.
Identified RAISE schools are provided with instructional supports in implementing evidence-based reading instruction and interventions in order to improve student reading achievement.

The Title I, Part C – Migrant Education Program (MEP) provides instructional and support services to meet the unique needs of migratory children (ages 3-21).
The purpose of Student Support and Academic Enrichment is to improve student academic achievement by increasing the capacity of state and local educational agencies.
Title IX, Part A - Florida McKinney-Vento Program ensures children and youth experiencing homelessness are identified, enrolled in, attending, and succeeding in school.
The purpose of the program is to provide opportunities for communities to establish or expand community learning centers.
The Department of Education has established an evidence-based youth mental health awareness and assistance training program to help school personnel identify and understand the signs of emotional disturbance, mental illness and substance use disorders and provide such personnel with the skills to help a person who is developing or experiencing an emotional disturbance, mental health or substance use problem.
